Cienaga Solar installed a 4 kilowatt solar electric system and a solar water heater for us in 2009. We could not have been more pleased with the entire process. They evaluated our use of electricity, provided options and plans for us to review, and were accurate about the timeframe for plan approval, obtaining materials, and the time required to complete the job. They underbid the larger "warehouse" solar company in the area and handled the paperwork for the PG&E rebate. Their installation required less penetration and modification of the roof than others. Gabe and his crew are very personable, responsive, and hard-working. They have remained available as questions arose and we have had them do additional work for us. A year later, no problems with the workmanship or materials. Our electric bill for April 2009 was $150 compared to minus $10 for April 2010. I have no hesitation in recommending Cienaga Solar to others (and often wonder why more homes in sunny Central California have not yet gone solar- do it!)

A couple of years ago, we decided to go solar. After shopping around we chose Cienaga Solar for their reputation of great service and quality work. It was an added bonus that the price was right as well! We run our business, Comet Realty from our home and use quite a bit of power. Gabe sized up our situation and installed the right amount of solar panels to generate almost exactly the power we use. Last year we produced exactly $12 more power than we used. Our bill use to be between $290 and $425 per month. Now it is $4.25 per month. Now that is the kind of Green I like to see!
